Online Marketing for Small Firms

In comparison to conventional dollars spent, online marketing is now becoming one of the most cost efficient solutions for small and huge organizations.  Implemented properly, a small regional firm are able to keep up with the significant budget businesses.  This can be done through (search engine optimization) search engine optimisation.  Allow Me to explain how this is possible:

A big accounting firm, KPMG for instance, services all of the USA, Canada and abroad.  As they grow and optimize their website they are not able to place much emphasis on smaller areas for example "Calgary".  When a smaller neighborhood company builds a site they can put all of the focus on Calgary.  This is a result of the fact they are uninterested in business from New York.  Bearing this in mind, smaller companies can dominate the local market.

This is an example of how it may work:

A client of ours, the Registered Public Accounting Association (RPAA) wanted to increase their associates by achieving a top ranking for 'accounting associations.'  Within fourteen days and under a $1,000 we were able to get them a very high ranking.  I've provided a brief list below (please check https://miloszkrasinski.com/101-seo-small-accounting-firms/)

Accounting Association Alberta

Ontario Accounting Association

Accounting Association Canada

All positions are at the top three positions.  By adding a location you're now only competing against 5 -15 million websites.  This appears to be a great deal but compare it to only "Accounting Association" that is competing against 47 million websites the competition is much smaller.

Keep in mind the RPAA still has a standing for "Accounting Association" but now they are all of the way back on page three.

When considering taking your business online, or investing in Internet Marketing strategies for your Current website, you need to ask yourself the follow questions:

Does my company need a web site?

More and more companies are asking themselves, do we need an internet presence?  The actual issue is "do we want more business" or "do we want to conserve our employees time".  If the solution is "yes" then a site is ideal for your company.

As times change, so do marketing strategies.  Having a web presence is currently becoming one of the most cost effective marketing strategies available.  When done correctly, a website owner can update, alter and practically control all aspects of their website themselves.  This prevents unexpected fees that can cripple a small organization.

What should I expect from my website?

The hopes of a website from some companies are unrealistic.  You can't count on a new website to begin earning you money overnight.  Additionally, just having a website does not indicate that you will see a benefit.  Put in what you would like to get out.

Time and time again we find associations using friends of their family to develop their internet presence.  This scenario usually causes more harm then good.  Would you recommend that one of your clients use their cousin who did book keeping for a year to perform their bookkeeping ... regardless of how much money you believe you will save, it costs you more in the long term.
